Leyna was out in the garage with Daddy this afternoon and suddenly burst through the door full of excitement. She had a new pet "Roly Poly" (I grew up calling them potato bugs). "Can we keep her Mommy? Pleeeeaaase?," she begged. Eventually she decided that the little gal needed to go back outside to go find her Mommy and Daddy. So cute...

So, both girls acquired new motor skills today. Thanks to a suggestion from one of the library books we got today, Leyna taught herself how to hop on one leg. It's something you take for granted as an adult but it really is pretty tricky to learn. Sticking your tongue out appears to be the key to success ;)

And Cora tackled something that I'm not quite as excited about...

Time to get out the gates!!!
