We're going to...

2:40 am - Mommy and Daddy get up and get dressed. We close up the house and make sure everything is in the car.
3:00 am - We lift the girls from their beds and strap them into their car seats for a little (BIG) trip.
3:09 am - We start driving. Here we go!
4:00 am - The girls both finally fall back asleep after making Mommy and Daddy worry that they never would.
5:30 am - Both girls awake and watch "Elmo's Bedtime." That wasn't nearly enough sleep!
6:40 am - First stop at Cracker Barrel for breakfast! Everyone enjoys their food and checks out the toys in the shop.
8:00 am - Back on the road. Time to watch "Beauty and The Beast."
9:15 am - Bathroom/Gas break. Leyna tells me she almost cried at the end of the movie because Belle was so beautiful. Surprise cookies (Leyna's favorite!) that our sweet neighbor baked for us and new toys handed out for some entertainment (I stocked up on magna doodles, activity books, new DVDs, video games, etc so they could have little new surprises during the long car ride).

11:20 am - Time for lunch. Cracker Barrel again :)
12:40 pm - Back on the road.
12:55 pm - Girlies are getting sleepy but resisting by playing with toys. Leyna tells me, "Long trips make me nervous cause I don't have all the things I'm used to having at home." I completely understand...
1:30-3:00 pm - Nap time...zzz...

2:42 pm - I admire how adorable Leyna's toes are ;)

3:15 pm - We arrive at our hotel in Georgia for the night. Woo hoo! The long day actually flew by and we are so shocked, amazed, and thrilled with how well the girls traveled. We couldn't have dreamed of the car trip going any better than it did!
3:42 pm - Bed jumping and chair spinning ensue. There is much pent up energy to release.

4:51 pm - Someone is knocking on our door. Who could it be? It's Nana and Pee Paw! Surprise!!! What are they doing here?
5:50 pm - After a very long wait we get a table for dinner, order our drinks, and tell the girls we have a little surprise for them. We give them each a bag full of clues...
6:02 pm - After receiving a stuffed character, princess jammies, and a Minnie Mouse shirt Leyna figures it out first. We're going to DISNEY WORLD!!! They are quietly excited and maybe a little stunned.

7:30 pm - We go back to our hotel room, take a bath, and put on new princess pjs. Then we watch a video about all of the fun things we'll be doing at Disney World! Leyna says she’s been wanting to go to Disney her whole life. Cora can’t wait to go on It’s a Small World After All. She wants to go RIGHT NOW.

8:00 pm - Starting to realize the girls are not going to settle down for bed very easily. They are SO EXCITED.
I'm bunking with Cora so I just laid through 30 minutes of kicking, face kissing, headlock cuddling, and “Rapunzel, Let down your hair!” After she finished her last Rapunzel line she immediately fell asleep. What a ham.
Can't wait for tomorrow!!!
