Whirlwind

My goodness what a day! We left our hotel as soon as the girls woke up this morning and headed home for a few hours. We unpacked, played with friends for a bit, had a quick visit from Pee Paw and Rudy, and packed the car back up to head to yet another hotel. Aunt Chrissy is getting married tomorrow and Leyna has the honored role of flower girl in the wedding. So we checked back into a hotel (ugh!), had an early dinner in the hotel restaurant, and dressed ourselves up for the rehearsal. We were so happy and surprised to see Great Grandma & Great Grandpa there (Mee Maw's parents)! The girls have only seen them 2 or 3 times so it was nice to reintroduce them and see them together. Leyna did fairly well with rehearsing though she was quite timid about going down the aisle. Hopefully her "princess" gown will give her a confidence boost tomorrow! The rehearsal dinner began at 8 (Cora's bed time) but the girls did pretty well hanging in. We made it through the salad course (the girls ate dessert at that point) and then Daddy & I boxed our entrees and headed out the door at 10:15 as Leyna was practically begging to go to bed. They made it all of 2 minutes in the car before they were fast asleep. Hopefully we can rest well for the big day tomorrow!
